Natural stone tiles are generally suitable for both floors and walls – they can be used throughout your home and are particularly well suited for use with underfloor heating.
Porcelain tiles or ceramic tiles are commonly used to cover floors and walls, with a water absorption rate of less than 0.5 per cent. The clay used to build porcelain tiles is generally denser. They can either be glazed or unglazed.
