Nestled between the rivers Deben and Orwell lies the Suffolk Coastal town of Felixstowe, a charming historic seaside town with a vibrant town centre and many fine Victorian & Edwardian buildings. It is also known for its colourful beach huts, Old Pier, and Victorian promenade and is steeped in history with historic links to Queen Victoria, Wallis Simpson and Sir John Mills to name a few.
The seafront provides many attractions including the historic 1906 pier recently re-developed, the Spa Pavilion providing a rich variety of entertainment and two sports and leisure centres including swimming baths.
Within the town, there are many fine restaurants and café bars and the well-established Felixstowe ferry golf course dating from 1881.
The town also boasts great transport links as it is located near both the A14 and A12 and enjoys a trains service to the market town of Ipswich that connects with the mainline to London Liverpool Street.
Felixstowe also benefits from the beautiful Suffolk countryside including the local “The Trimly Marshes”, a nature reserve and the perfect place to bird watch and be at one with nature.
